Blood Compatibility

It is a test for medical devices that interact directly or indirectly with blood to determine the hemolytic effects of devices. It is the spectrophotometric measurement of the increase in free plasma hemoglobin levels released as a result of erythrocyte loss or damage, which occurs as a result of direct contact of the specified medical device materials or its extracts with blood. As a result of the spectrophotometric comparison, the hemolytic effect is determined.
