Pyrogenicity (European Pharmacopoeia)

In the applied test, it is aimed to test the in vivo pyrogen effect of the properly prepared products of the material to be examined in rabbits. It is administered to rabbits by the intravenous route. Briefly, the ability of the administered substance to produce an inflammatory response is tested.
